Please post a link to a recent WoL or equivalent of current raid content. If you do not provide parses, your application will be rejected.
What is your preferred raiding spec? Please describe your Talent Point choices in detail. What glyphs do you use and why?

hat is my current talent spec.

Beast Mastery

3 Points into One with Nature for the obvious increase in AP that Aspect of the Hawk will Provide.

My Survival talent tree is pretty straight forward

First row being pathing and Improved Serpent Sting

Pathing- gives me 3% and at the time I felt 3 points are better spent in that then hunter vs wild but I'm considering now taking 2 points out of that and putting them into Hunter vs. Wild to help healers just a little bit cause of how hard we get hit.

Improved Serpent Sting- Not only helps with single target dots but it helps a whole heck of alot with AoE right after Multi-Shot thats the largest AoE damage.

Second Row-Survival Instincts & Trap Mastery
Survival Instincts- Which I also thought was best at the time but I'm either considering taking both of those point out of that and putting them into hunter vs wild and only taking one out of pathing to complete the 15% extra stamina.

Trap Mastery-Pretty obvious/Straight Forward, it increases the damage done to black arrow and explosive trap which I choose Explosive Trap on certain fight and the same goes for Black Arrow.

Third Row-Thrill of the Hunt & LnL

Thrill of the Hunt- Excellent focus regen talent that has a very often helps me when focus dumping and being able to quickly regenerate focus through Cobra Shot.

LnL-This is the main Talent you have to have unless you want to be useless. I choose Black Arrow and Explosive Traps on certain boss (stand still bosses, or ones that have to be moved often). I explain how I maintain not being focused capped when I gain LnL, below.

Fourth Row-Resourcefulness & TNT

Resourcefulness- Reduces CD's on BA and Explosive Trap meaning I can use them much more often.

TNT-This is what let's me use Explosive Trap instead of BA on some fights cause of its almost always guaranteed LnLx2

Fifth Row-Toxicology,Wyvern Sting,Noxious Stings, and Hunting Party.

Toxicology- Another AoE/Single Target DPS increaser.

Wyvern Sting-Useless.

Noxious Stings- Unfortunately we have to put a point into Wyvern Sting to get to this talent, But basically increases our damage done with all spells with targets affected with Serpent Sting.(another AoE increasing ability and single target)

Hunting Party- It helps the group over all especially in a 10 man when we don't have another class that can grant haste through there talents.

Sixth Row-Sniper Training & Serpent Spread

Sniper Training- Increases my damage as I'm casting cobra shot for focus regen and helps with Kill shot crits for fights like Ultra when I use the glyph.

Serpent Spread- Increases the duration so I can stay on another target longer and the uptime on the Serpent sting being longer so I don't have to refresh for a bit.

Last Row-Black Arrow

Black Arrow- Spell I use when movement on the boss is required and guarantee's one LnL proc.

Marksmanship Tree

Go for the Throat- Auto shits crit often so overall helping pet damage and the last couple of points are spent better in here.

Efficiency- Reduces the focus cost of arcane shot by 3 and explosive shot by 6 meaning I can spend less time casting Cobra shot for regenerating.

Sic' Em!- Arcane Shot's give alot of crits also helping pet DPS and letting the pet use less focus on attacks.

As for my a simple rotation at the start is Mark>Serpent Sting>Ex>Explosive Trap (have trap launcher prepared)>2 Arcane shot dumps> Rapid Fire

When LnL my rotation turns into Ex>Ex>AS>Ex.

I'll switch to Glyph of Kill Shot on fights like Ultra and swap Glyph of Serpent Sting for it.

Glyph of Explosive Shot- I use this to increase crit chance which ultimately helps out on DPS

Glyph of Arcane Shot- Simply increases DPS and is a better choice over the rest of the major glyphs.

Glyph of Serpent Sting- Help's alot with AoE and increases AoE damage and ability to kill stuff quicker with the dots and helps out alot with Improved Serpent Sting.

Glyph of Raptor Strike- Because hunter's have almost 0 mitigation and we need everything we can get to reduce our damage taken.

Please describe your rotation/priority list in detail. Tanks: What is your rotation for maximum threat? When do you consider using your cool downs? Healers: What abilities do you use when you're tank healing? Raid healing? When do you use your cool downs?

I am applying as all three specs since I am capable of playing all three. Sorry if this isn't brief but I thought I could explain it better with this very large wall ... If you are only interested in a SV/MM Hunter's you only have to look at the first two sections.

That is my current talent spec.

As for my a simple rotation at the start is Mark>Serpent Sting>Ex>Explosive Trap (have trap launcher prepared)>2 Arcane shot dumps> Rapid Fire

When LnL my rotation turns into Ex>Ex>AS>Ex.

Glyph of Raptor Strike- I use on certain fights because of how we have almost 0 mitigation and it helps out the healers a whole lot.

Survival brings alot to the table in 25M it not only brings 10% range and melee attack speed but it brings out alot of AoE which almost every boss in Dragon Soul currently requires. I've found I do more DPS with SV than MM this patch, with SV I played all through ICC so I know it very well and the rotation is fairly the same. But of course I did theory-craft a lot and decided to go all out with mastery instead of haste, since haste is already coming alot from our talent tree's.

And for uniqueness I don't ever copy a spec according to whomever says it's the best such as, for PvP. But Sometimes it does make complete sense but I usually try to look at why its set the way it is and almost always I change the talent to my play style.

- I'll scale how well I can play these specs based on a scale of (1-10)

Beast Mastery (7-10) meaning it would take me maybe a boss or two to completely get used to it again

Survival (10-10) meaning I have mastered the spec.

Marksmanship (9-10) I am fully aware of what i am doing with this spec and am able to pull a good number of dps with it.

- Marksmanship-

Back in 4.2 MM was my main spec and I was able to pull a good amount of DPS until 4.3 arrived.

I used the typical rotation at the beginning of the fight- Serpent sting>Chimera>Focus Dump (Arcane Shot then start again with Chimera Shot. But right after the first focus dump I start up my Rapid Fire.

As for BM

With this spec I start off with Casting Serpent Sting>Bestial Wrath Macro which includes Pots/Racials/Trinkets>Kill Command> Then Focus Dump Arcane Shot keep spamming until KC is off of CD> Then cast Fervor by the time I am out of Focus and spam some Arcane shots then regain focus with cobra shots and Kill command and Arcane Shot till Bestial Wrath comes back up. With Focus Fire on of course. Ultimately with Beast Mastery there is alot of spells that help you regain focus extremely fast but for alot of AoE fights it isnt completely viable unless I use a worm with its AoE it would work out great. But as you can see I'm able to play all 3 specs very well and will play anything that is needed for the group.

What are your primary professions? Are they maxed? Why did you choose these professions?

Leatherworking & Skinning-- Both maxed

Leatherworking- Cause of the nice 130 agility and cheap/ easy item enhancements LW embossments give.

Skinning- I used this to help level my leatherworking but all it currently gives is crit which I am going to be changing to jewelcrafting soon.

Do you have Ventrilo?

How did you hear about us? Do you have any references within the guild?

Unfortunately, No references in the guild yet.

What were your previous guilds and why did you leave? (Be specific):

The Seventh seal- I left because our GM had quit WoW but suddenly came back once nerfs came up in FL so we could clear it.

Rage Quit- Our GM once again leaves, for SWTOR so our core is falling apart.

What is your current and previous raid experience? Please include prior characters, and be specific (ex. 15/15 Naxx, Sarth +3, ICC25 11/12 HM):

Killed BWL,AQ40, and MC, In BC I got all the way up to Gruul's lair and just started to pvp mostly, then in LK I stopped playing for about 5 months then came back to clear ICC on regs but no HM's. So 12/12.

Now in Cata I stopped playing for after a week of cata launch once I hit 85 I became bored and stopped playing for about 6 months. Came back and saw 4.2 around the corner and started to gear up a bit, cleared it first week but come conflict with an old GM made the core fall apart then I joined Rage Quit on Horde side with the same GM and we cleared 6/7H then went on to clear 8/8 regs and 2/8HM in 4.3

How did/do you learn about your class mechanics? Do you remain updated on changes?

I know many great hunter's who have given me tips and suggestions for any new talents that I try out. But I've used to see what opinions hunters have that visit that website, also and also look at there opinions and what they have to say about a certain topic. When I see a very large change to a talent this is what I usually do, and I always remain updated on my talents any patch that is released.

Please post a picture of your User Interface using the following website, with all relevant keybindings shown. If your UI does not convey all of your important keybindings, elaborate Please list your major mods (DBM, Big Wigs, etc).

Currently only using DBM,Recount,BT4, and TellMeWhen.

(Yes I have very many spells hidden on two other bars that are hidden with the addon called Bartender, spells such as Raptor Strike, Roar of Recovery, and possibly any of the rest you may be thinking of now)

As for the keybindings

I have been using the Razer Naga for the past two years. So I've got most of my main spells on 1-12 iteself.

(Spell followed by the keybind)
Explosive Shot-1
Explosive Trap-2
Serpent Sting-3
Arcane Shot-4
Trap Launcher-5
Kill Shot-7
Wyvern Sting-8 (For that very rare time I have to use this spell)
Kill Command-9
Fox Cobra Shot-11
Rapid Fire-12

Cobra Shot-Scroll Wheel Up
CD's (Pots,Racials,etc)-Shift-B4
Disengage-Shift 3
Deterrence-Shift 11
Raptor Strike-Shift-10

I've got my finger on the Shift modifier at all times cause of the way I move.

I use the typical WASD movement nothing different, I like to strafe around and such.

But those are the main keybindings if you want to know a specific spell I may have missed, just let me know of course.

What is your availability? Are you able to make all raid days and times? (Mon-Thurs, 7:30p-11:30p CST)

Most definitely, Yes.

How old are you? Do you consider yourself mature?

I'm 17 years old, and I honestly do consider myself mature. But I'm really easy to get along with so I can joke around with people alot once they get to know me.

Tell us about yourself (job, school, lifestyle, etc):

Me? My name is Eric and I live in TEXAS! and have loads to do outside of WoW. Currently in first string JV-A and have practice for hours ( till around 6 from 3PM) but currently on our off-season. Playing Soccer and well.. you get the point haha alot of extra-curricular sports.

and WoW, WoW is probably the second game I've started playing--EVER. I used to mostly play xbox in my freetime. But back in 06 I discovered WoW from a cousin playing and seemed the greatest ever back in Vanilla it was extremely fun.

What do you expect from us?

Like I've said in the previous couple of questions, I've been through many guilds but none with the progression this one has, I"ve finally felt like I could step up to another level of gaming in WoW. Since I've felt this way I've also theorycrafted alot more than I used to about my class, and have made very many large DPS changes the past couple of weeks. I've got to offer my dedication which will forever last until we retire from raiding,My commitment is another huge part. I'm on every night to raid with people who want the samething as me. To progress. I'm motivated and always stay up on the ups and downs of progression raiding. I've also got alot to contribute to the guild with my professions (Which I will be changing skinning into JC).

But what I also expect is for me people to have the motivation to kill bosses and be able to withstand the ups and downs of progression raiding.

Why do we want you?

The way I play brings a lot to the table, I know my class, I never expect to go through a fight and get carried. I look at the strats and know why the things are being done the way they are, and beyond all that I strive and have the urge to kill and progress through current content and have felt that I can go to the next level by joining this guild and by being apart of a guild were everyone know's what they are doing, I've got dedication, motivation and can't wait to be apart of a guild like Play.

I've became interested in Play not only because of the realm location (Hellscream) but the progression the guild has going. I'm looking for a guild were the rest of the raiders are looking forward to the samething as I am and want to push the extra mile for it, I'd like to be in a guild were everyone has about the same dedication as me or even more (ALOT), and the same amount of motivation and urge to kill and progress.

Lastly,I've been through many guilds the past 5 years. None with the type of progression your guild Play has, I've finally felt that I can take my gaming caliber to the next level and join a top guild and be able to progress even more than what I've already experienced. I've always been apart of guilds that quit pre-nerf and we never down the actual bosses till the nerfs hit, once the nerfs hit we down bosses and we're "Bad Asses" .. thats not the type of progression I want. I want to be apart of a core group and down bosses at a fast competitive pace against other Top world guilds and before nerfs and be able to get along with top players of the realm and even the world, I believe by joining Play i'll not only have even more motivation to increase my skills as a hunter but gain tons of experience and knowledge and feel the same way many great players in the guild must feel.

Additional information:

I'd like to mention a few things about the logs,On yorsahj we may have used a different strat. We would kill every other void and just pop mana CD's like totem, hymn's, etc. and I think for several of these logs potions weren't used so please excuse the lack of them . But I'm always prepared except for several of these fights were I was dragged in as soon as I logged on when I got home.

Since this app was rather simple, I'd like to just say that whatever questions you have about how I play my class and playstyle, keybindings.

Thanks for reviewing my App!

Damn that is a lot of detail. Feels like the one i wrote back in march lol
Haha, Sorry to make you read through all of that, nice pic ;)
holy christ on a cracker
I think the unnecessary part was for me to put why I put the talent points and stuff, probably why it's extremely long haha.
Reject on first name alone imo, there can be only one!
